Our operations are based in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, where we specialise in educating the public about important first aid information for snake bites and how to coexist with Australia’s deadliest reptiles, such as snakes, monitor lizards, and saltwater and freshwater crocodiles.

Precision Reptiles promotes conservation of native wildlife through live, hands-on presentations. Our reptile shows provide the public with a better understanding of natural ecosystems and why preserving all native inhabitants, including snakes, elapids, pythons, crocodiles, monitors, lizards, dragons, skinks, and geckos, is integral to environmental sustainability.

Our interactive wildlife education also features essential snake bite first aid and safety advice to help reduce snake bite deaths across Australia. Through reptile breeding projects and community awareness initiatives, including snake bite awareness programs and snake refresher courses, we help curb human impacts on wildlife and preserve our natural world for future generations.

About Our Founder

Our founder is a passionate venomous snake demonstrator and educator who has spent his entire career educating Australians about the amazing snakes that we have living in our country. He has years of experience working with some of the world’s deadliest and most dangerous species of reptile.

Starting with the world’s “Deadly Dozen,” the top 12 most venomous snakes, as well as giant pythons and monster monitor lizards, he has worked with a diverse range of amazing reptiles over his lifetime. The goal of the business is simply to decrease snake bites through education and increase our appreciation of our local wildlife.

Non-Venomous Educational Programs

We bring fascinating Australian reptiles up close and personal. With the help of our beautiful hand-raised pythons, crocodiles, monitor lizards, dragons, and skinks, we promote awareness and education in the safest of settings.

Venomous Snake Awareness Programs

Our comprehensive programs teach people how to identify Australia’s venomous snakes, their behaviour, bite symptoms, and first aid techniques such as the Pressure Immobilisation Technique (P.I.T.). With the help of some of our extremely gentle but dangerous animals, we can educate people in the safest of settings.

Snake Bite Awareness Refresher Courses

We offer refresher courses for those who have already completed snake bite training. Keep your skills current and stay prepared for real emergencies. We can also provide contact details for numerous venomous snake courses throughout Southeast Queensland.

Reptile Supplies and Sales

We provide quality reptile supplies, including enclosures, heating, lighting, accessories, equipment, and premium waterproof snake and spider bite first aid bandages. Our Reptile Ambassadors

Our hand-raised and well-socialised reptile ambassadors are the stars of our shows. They include:

  • Pythons: Olive Pythons, Black-Headed Pythons, and Woma Pythons.
  • Venomous Snakes: Brown Snakes, Taipans, Mulga Snakes (King-Browns), Red-Bellied Blacks, Tiger Snakes, and the extremely rare Collett’s Black Snake, displayed safely for education.

  • Monitors: Spencer’s Monitor/Goanna.
  • Dragons: Bearded Dragons and Frilled-Neck Dragons.

Safety is our first and foremost priority in every presentation we give. All of our presenters follow strict safety measures that keep both our audience and our reptiles safe. For venomous species, we make sure they are in a controlled environment and always use the appropriate handling equipment.

However, we also believe in making people aware of things like knowing how to identify venomous snakes, what should be done when there is a snake at your feet, or even if a bite may occur. This is knowledge that can save many lives alone. This is the reason that awareness of snake bite forms the base of our presentations.
